This 4 channel helicopter is a marvel, and sells for about $60!<a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/syma%20s800g%204%20ch%20coaxial%20helicopter%202.htm"><span style="font-size: large;"> Though there was nothing wrong with mine, it was time to take it down for a proper clean and lube job, </span></a>to ensure I get the longest life possible from it. This S800g Syma has turned out to be a fun and stable little flier!<br />

#1 Helicopter 3 Channel. The best new copter, The best toy helicopter, and not the most expensive toy copter. The Syma S107 helicopter follows the successful line of great toy flying copters that Syma has always made.<br />If you've owned a terrible Double Horse Helicopter model 9104, or Double Horse 9100, you'll find the<br />
Syma, s107 and Helizone Firebirds (pictured above) to be incredibly good copters.<br />
I have owned almost every popular 3 channel copter: Interceptor 052, Syma S032, Radio Shack Interceptor 052, Syma S031, Syma S006g, 33Cm Metal Heli from Ebay, Costco Helicopter, Syma's Chinook S022 and S026, San Huan 6020, Leadershobby fj-750, Blade Micro, Bladerunner Helicopter, Syma S111g, and Jin Fei Hu s2009.<br />

I got one of these great little fliers from Fry's Electronics. I'm amazed at how many different copters there are now! Just a few years ago, they carried TWO models, the 8818, and the 6020, and neither had gyro!<br />

It is hard to beat the small <a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/chinooksSMcopter.htm" target="_blank">Chinook Helicopters from Syma and others.</a> Even Swann, the security camera company is selling these now. Super reliable, super stable, super fun!<br />
I just can't think of a better first copter or gift, and I've proven this by giving several.<br />
Unlike a lot of small copters, these WON'T stop flying the first day. I've had tons of fun with mine, and have even customized a few. Most small copters just won't last long enough to customize at all. Syma's offerings just keep getting better and better!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1092889256155002311.post-6195769501844742142012-07-20T07:47:00.003-07:002012-07-20T07:47:59.613-07:00LeadersHobby FJ750 Helicopter Review<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

I made a tribute video to a recently demised copter. My S107 in yeloow hit the dog dish and survived, but the bucket of Fido's water got him! My pretty yellow copter is dead, never to fly again. Here's the tribute to a falle soldier.<br />

I have a lot of 3 channel helicopters, but the Syma S006G blew me away. The fit and finish are above par, and the presentation out of box os second to none.<br />
If you are looking for a copter to give and want to make a big impression with it, get the S006G, it is a dazzler.<br />

A great 3 channel helicopter that took over the entire World. ...Of 3 channel indoor helicopters! The Syma And Helizone Firebird 3 channels have proven to be THE copters to own, experienced pilot or not.<br />
I've lost count of how many I've owned, bt I only got the great number of them so I could fly and fly and fly. I like to charge up six or seven of them, and fly for an entire hour at a time!<br />

I just got in the latest and newest 4 channel helicopter, the 4 channel Syma s800G helicopter. It is a great transition bird for those who love Syma's great S107, because it's the same size, and uses a lot of the same parts. A great flier, you can get them at <a href="http://www.hobby-estore.com/" target="_blank">Hobby-eStore,com</a><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/103helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="217" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/103helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Start counting components- two things are evident: There are few of them, and they are tightly arranged.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/104helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="204" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/104helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have seen F14 avionics parts that were not packaged this well. Just look at how all those wires flow together, and how cable routing was obviously designed in.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/105helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="194" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/105helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Consider this: the head can be entirely assembled to the drive, before being installed in the Helizone Thunderbird metal chassis. This forward-think saves lots of time and error in the assembly phase.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/106helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="259" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/106helizonethunderbird_2012_4_channel.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can bet that<a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/copters.htm" target="_blank"> I'll be building a small fleet</a> of this model as I move on from 3-channel after 3 years.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

It's so nice to land where you wanted to, not where you ended up.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305327.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="210" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305327.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I was surprised at the range I had with the transmitter that came with the Helizone Thunderbird. But then again, it's a Giggy-hertz radio, so that really shouldn't be surprising. I think the IR-controlled copter days are about over.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305328.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305328.jpg" width="320" /></a></div> <a href="http://www.hobby-estore.com/Helizone-RC-Thunderbird-4-CH-Gyro-Helicopter-p/eh-tb-black.htm">And at just $49</a>, the Helizone Thunderbird will be a huge factor in proving me correct.<br />

This is your familiar 3-channel metal airframe, with incredibly tiny servos added for swashplate control.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305321.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305321.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Unlike those IR-controlled 3-channels, however, this puppy flies outdoors just fine.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305322.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="164" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305322.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">This is about the same size as the pricey micro-helicopters you've seen, but the durability is very high in comparison. The <a href="http://www.hobby-estore.com/Helizone-RC-Thunderbird-4-CH-Gyro-Helicopter-p/eh-tb-black.htm" target="_blank">Helizone Thunderbird 4-channel</a> is a very rugged helicopter, based on proven components.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305323.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="161" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305323.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">The gold and gloss black treatment reminds me of those hot Yamaha Specials from the 1980's. Gorgeous.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/copters.htm" target="_blank"><span style="font-size: large;">See my huge copter collection HERE. </span></a></div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1092889256155002311.post-77421110983897794292011-12-27T09:09:00.000-08:002011-12-28T06:03:26.741-08:00Helizone RC ThunderBird Helicopter 4-channel is all-new<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305317.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305317.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">The new <a href="http://www.hobby-estore.com/Helizone-RC-Thunderbird-4-CH-Gyro-Helicopter-p/eh-tb-black.htm" target="_blank">Helizone 4-channel copter is here</a>, and it's a fantastic example of a micro 4-channel helicopter.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305318.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://www.killbuckets.com/thunderbird_copter_7305318.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">The styling is sharp, but look past that, because this model is packed with advanced-helicopter features that even discerning pilots will like.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
